Christmas in Cornwall

Christmas is a lovely time here in mid-Cornwall.  We can't promise a white one, but often the weather is mild and pleasant allowing you to take advantage of the great outdoor activities.

The Eden Project has seasonal events such as the ice rink and lots of singing and story telling, and craft activities for the kids. Many of the harbour villages put on displays of Christmas lights, most notably Mousehole and Padstow.

Your cottage can be decorated with your choice of real or artificial tree, and there are lights in the courtyard.  The parish bell ringers will visit and play seasonal tunes, you can also have a go and there is mulled wine and mince pies.  Jasmine the cart horse puts on her sleigh bells, and as long as there is no ice can take you for a Christmas ride.

For Christmas week we currently have availability for up to 12 people plus cots/extra beds. Start dates for Christmas week are flexible, give us a call or email with your requirements for a competitive quote. For New Year week there is space for 8 people in 2 cottages (plus the odd extra bed if needed)

If you fancy a relaxing change of scene for your Christmas shopping why not take advantage of the low season prices in November and December?

There are various Christmas markets, Truro and Plymouth are in easy reach, not to mention Trago Mills and all the local farm shops.

Weekly prices until Christmas week are £325 for two bedrooms, or £275 for one bedroom.  Short breaks are £250 for two bedrooms or £190 for one bedroom.  All inclusive of linen, central heating and electricity.
